You know how to fix things and harvest your own food. You share your knowledge without being condescending.
Lately, the world stopped listening. They thought they could do it without you. But in the last few decades the world has become a mess. It’s time for your call of duty. It’s time to take point and get their six. However you’ve served your country, you are the Grizzled Veterans we need. To build a better future, our country needs its heroes of the past.

OUR FEATURED VETERAN
Lieutenant Colonel James J. Kisch
Born and raised in Minnesota, Jim earned an appointment to United States Air Force Academy, studying Science and Engineering.
He was assigned to Rhein Main Air Force Base, Germany as a pilot in the C-130E after which he deployed for nine months for Operation DESERT SHIELD/STORM and over Northern Iraq during Operation PROVIDE COMFORT. After active combat duty, he held numerous squadron positions at Pope Air Force Base. He later served as the Director of Operations at the 54 Air Squadron, Wright Patterson Air Force Base.
Lieutenant Colonel Kisch is a command pilot with over 4500 flying hours. His military decorations include the Meritorious Service Medal, Air Medal, Aerial Achievement Medal with five Oak Leaf Clusters, and the Air Force Outstanding Unit Award with Valor with five Oak Leaf Clusters.
Since his military retirement, Jim continues to serve his country as an engineer with Caterpillar. He also enriched his community as a high school robotics coach. In his spare time, he sails, more recently earning his Captain’s certification.
With a history of serving our country as a pilot, military leader, engineer, and coach, we are proud to feature retired Lieutenant Colonel James J. Kisch.
He is one of many Grizzled Veterans that continue to be an asset to our nation.
